How To: Edit an Email Account in Mail using Macintosh 10.4 (Tiger)
► Summary:
This article describes how to edit an email account to Mail using Macintosh 10.4 (Tiger).
Note: Before adding an email account to Mail, you will need to know the following information:

Your Suddenlink e-mail address and password
·
Incoming and Outgoing mail servers for your area
o Incoming Mail Server = pop.suddenlink.net
o Outgoing Mail Server = smtp.suddenlink.net
► Solution
1. Open Mail.
2. Click the Mail menu and choose Preferences. The Account information window will display.
3. The Account Type should be POP.
Note: If the Account Type is not POP, please refer to How to: Add an Email Account in
Mail using Macintosh 10.4 (Tiger) to add a new email address.
4. Verify the Email Address and Full Name is correct.
5. Verify the Incoming Mail Server information.
6. Verify the Username and Password is correct.
7. Click Server Settings to verify the SMTP Server Settings.
8. Verify the SMTP Outgoing Mail Server. Click OK.
9. Click Close to save the changes.
All steps complete.
