High Speed Internet.
Modems
Please see Cable Modem Overview to get a listed of supported modems for Suddenlink High Speed
Internet.
TCP/IP
Please setup your computer to DHCP(dynamic host control protocol) in order to connect to Suddenlink
High Speed Internet.
Browser
For local content provided by Suddenlink High Speed Internet, please set your home page to
http://www.Suddenlink.net. Please configure your browser to connect using a LAN (Local Area
Network) connection and please disable proxy settings. Suddenlink High Speed Internet does not use
proxy servers on our network.
Email
Please contact a Customer Service Representative at 1-800-490-9604 for information on how to setup
your Email.
POP and SMTP Servers
A POP (Post Office Protocol) server is a computer that stores your incoming email messages and allows
you to retrieve them at your convenience.
An SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) server is a computer that sends outgoing messages from your
email software and delivers them to the appropriate computer on the Internet.

POP and SMTP servers for your area.

Personal WebSpace
Personal WebSpace is provided by Suddenlink High Speed Internet as a free service to our subscribers.
In order for you to add, delete, update, and edit your content for Personal WebSpace you would need
to use an FTP client. You will need an FTP client, your username and password to log into the server.
Username and password is the same as the one use to check your email. The URL to your Personal
WebSpace is http://pages.suddenlink.net/webspaceinfo, where username is the first part of your
email address.
WebMail
WebMail is a free service provided to Suddenlink High Speed Internet Customers. It allows users to
check their email from anywhere. It provides 1GB of storage space and allows you to check up to 7
email accounts through one inbox. You can login to WebMail at:
https://account.suddenlink.net/selfcare/checkemail.do .
