Information: Email and Attachment Size Limitations

Each email has a size limitation of 10 MB, including attachments, and a total limitation of 1 GB on the server.
However, this does not mean that an email with a 10 MB attachment can necessarily be sent. When binary file
attachments (basically anything except for text) are sent, they are converted to a text format. This conversion
increases the file by roughly 35%. A 7 MB attachment can be sent, and the message will be 9.5 MB after the
conversion.
If files larger than this are sent, an error message will be received, with information about the size of the file that was
attempted to be sent, and what the limitation is.
