Information: No Email Relaying Error
► Summary:
This article provides information on the "No Email Relaying" error.
► Content
Relaying is the ability to send mail through a server to which you are not directly connected. An
example of relaying is the use of an ISP (such as AOL or EarthLink) to send mail using an HSI server as
the originating point.
Suddenlink High Speed Internet mail servers do not allow email relaying because spammers frequently
use relayed servers to send bulk mail.
If you are using another ISP to access HSI email while you are away from home, you will need to ensure
that the outgoing SMTP server name in your email program is the correct server name for the service
that you are using for your Internet access.
