Information: Transferring Suddenlink High Speed Internet Service to a Different Computer

The following items need to be completed when transferring CHSI service from one computer to
another:

If there is email, favorites, or an address book on the computer, this information should be
backed up so that it can be copied to a different computer. Refer to article: How to: Back Up
My Outlook Express Email User Information.

If the computer that will receive CHSI service does not have a 10Base-T compatible network
adapter, the adapter needs to be removed from the current computer and installed on the new
computer, or a new 10Base-T compatible Ethernet card purchased and installed on the new
computer.
Note: Suddenlink cannot offer any advice on how to physically remove / install an adapter
card. This operation should be performed by someone familiar with computer hardware and the
safeguards involved.
