Sending Feedback on Spam Messages

Suddenlink encourages its customers to participate in identifying and reporting spam in an effort to offer the best spam filtering available. Your submissions are evaluated and incorporated into future updates of our spam detection services.

There are two ways for Suddenlink subscribers to provide feedback on spam messages they have received.

  1. The easiest is to log into your Webmail account at https://account.suddenlink.net/selfcare/checkemail.do, select the message(s), and click on the "Spam" button. The message(s) will be automatically sent to the Anti-spam center and deleted from your mailbox.
  2. The other way is to e-mail the messages to the submit-spam@suddenlink.net mailbox. The best method of submitting a spam message is to create a new message addressed to submit-spam@suddenlink.net, drag the spam message(s) into it, and then send it off. While forwarding them is the easiest method of sending them it is not the most useful way since the original headers of the spam message are lost.
  3. You can do the same for messages which have been incorrectly classified as spam when they are actually legitimate messages. Just send them to submit-notspam@suddenlink.net. Phishing messages --- messages which try to get you to reveal passwords or other personal information --- can be submitted to submit-phishing@suddenlink.net

Confirmation of Submissions (POP Users only)

When you send messages to the spam/notspam/phishing mailboxes you will receive at the end of each day a message summarizing your submissions. This confirms that your submissions were received and entered into the feedback system.
